Optimon is a Belgian-based management consulting company which specializes in the field of Reliability-Centred Maintenance with clients mainly in Belgium, Luxembourg and France. Notable Facts: Mr. Brabants is a graduated engineer and a certified member of the Aladon network trained by the late John Moubray, the original founder of the RCM2 network. He has assisted a significant number of major industrial organizations with the application of RCM2. He is an experienced RCM2 presenter, has thirty years of experience in maintenance management and has specialized in industrial application of RCM2 for the past twenty years.
Luc has trained more than 2500 persons in the Reliability-centred Maintenance processes and has personally conducted more than 100 RCM analyses in all types of industries: Steel, Automotive, Chemical, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Paper, Power Generation and Food.
He started off his career for the carpet industry working as a maintenance manager in South Africa and Wales and as technical director in Benin. After 15 years of experience in the field of maintenance he became maintenance consultant mainly involved in the implementation of computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) in the electrical power generation industry.
Since 1997, Luc has been a member of the Aladon Network. In 1998, he started his own business, Optimon, specialized to assist clients to apply RCM from start to finish. Optimon offers training, consulting and other services to clients in nearly all types of industries.
Luc has conducted a lot of profit RCM projects involving productivity, quality, maintenance and performance improvement for companies in Europe. He lectures in English, Dutch and French.
