The objective of the Asset Prioritization Facilitator Course is to provide you with the skills to facilitate an Asset Prioritization analysis. This methodology helps rate assets with respect to the impact of their failure and their reliability on your business objecti ves. Both values are essential when managing work order backlogs and asset performance gaps as well as developing an enterprise wide reliability strategy.

The Asset Prioritization methodology is a focusing tool to tailor a reliability initiative to your business environment. It involves:

• Working with management to develop criteria that define the consequences and the probability of asset failure.
• Establishing your risk tolerance levels.
• Applying the resulting guidelines to rank your assets.
• Ensures that you prioriti ze assets to focus reliability improvement on the equipment most likely to impact business performance.
• Enables you to evaluate risk and consequence to a user defined criteria list. For example: safety, environment and fi nancial impact of equipment functional failure.
• Allows you to easily identify the improvement initiatives that should take priority.
