New software offering builds foundation for Equipment Reliability Programs
and offers choice in Reliability Development Strategies

This new offering is available through The Aladon Network™, whose members are the exclusive providers of the leading application of Reliability Centered Maintenance - Ivara RCM2™.

Ivara EXP Professional offers users a cohesive strategy to drive disciplined failure mode analysis work across an entire equipment base within a single application. The new offering is comprised of the following functional features fully supported by The Aladon Network.

Asset Prioritization
Objectively determine which assets should be tackled first when conducting RCM2 or an FMEA analysis. With Asset Prioritization users gain a clear understanding of the consequences and risks associated with their equipment failing, to determine which assets are the priority to achieve maximum return on their analysis investment.

Reliability Strategy Selection
Recognizing that one methodology does not meet all clients’ needs, Ivara has developed the Reliability Strategy Selection feature to ensure that organizations apply the appropriate risk/consequence approach best suited for their business environment.  This feature offers users a tailorable risk-based methodology to objectively determine which of their assets require RCM2 and which are suitable for MTA, enabling a balance of these two complementary methodologies in their business context.

Two Integrated Equipment Reliability Program Development Strategies:

RCM2
RCM2 has been generally accepted as the most comprehensive RCM methodology available.  Meeting the SAE JA1011/1012 standard, RCM2 is engineered to ensure the highest possible standard of safety, environmental and operational performance levels demanded of the most critical assets of a business.

MTA
EXP Professional supports a complementary new analysis methodology defined by Ivara called Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA). MTA draws from the strengths of RCM2 thinking, but provides an accelerated FMEA approach ideal for rapid analysis of less critical assets. MTA is less resource-intensive and ideal where the rigor of full RCM2 may not be required.

Ivara also offers flexible licensing options for EXP Professional, that can help address specific client requirements today and as they evolve in the future.

EXP Professional has been designed and built for seamless migration to EXP Enterprise where the results of the analyses from EXP Professional can be implemented and deployed in a complete asset performance management system.  EXP Enterprise transforms RCM2 and FMEA analyses into a living equipment reliability program online and in real-time.
